Synopsis:
Khundrakpam Pradipkumar hits the gym after he comes down with AIDS. Amazingly, his health improves dramatically and Pradipkumar goes on to take up bodybuilding to win the title of Mr. Manipur. |
Director: Aribam Syam Sharma
Aribam Syam Sharma is the pioneer of Manipuri cinema. His films include My Son, My Precious (1981) which won the Grand Prix at the Festival of Three Continents at Nantes and was selected for New Directors/New Films Festival at the Museum of Modern Art, New York. Other films include The Chosen One (1992) which was screened in the Un Certain Regard section of the Cannes film Festival. Mr. Sharma's work also includes many documentaries his latest being Rajarshi Bhagyachandra (2008) which was featured at the Indian International Film Festival this year.
