Description:
60x60 Secs is the first project of motiroti's 360°, a programme of exchanges exploring
evolving cultural dynamics in Britain, India and Pakistan. Comprising of
one-minute films by sixty artists from the South Asian Diaspora, 60x60 Secs
reveals unique perspectives on 'home' and boundaries in an age of migration
and movement. Crossing geographical and racial divides, looking past
political and religious definitions, 60x60 Secs seeks to unravel complex
identities and stories, creating a meeting place for intercultural
expression and dialogue. Moti Roti's last big project in New York , Aladdin,
was at the Brooklyn Academy of Music and was a collaborative project with
the Builders Association. They have been a recipient of an Obie Award here
in America.
