NOISE (Shor)
Synopsis:
When three young men find a bomb on a train, should they sell it or have a good blast with it? But how to find a secluded place in a crowded Indian city? SHOR, is a fast-paced edgy satire that highlights the apathy prevalent in urban India. The short is a precursor to a full-length feature film that will be produced next year. With Pitabash Tripathy, Vijay Verma, Alok Chaturvedi, Sudheer Chaudhary.

Raj Nidimoru and DK Krishna are US-based filmmakers. They write, direct and produce their films together. Their first feature, FLAVORS, won rave reviews around the world, and had a theatrical run in USA and India. It was an official entry at over a dozen prestigious international film festivals- Hamptons , Milan, Durban, Bangkok, Mumbai and Hawaii among them. FLAVORS is currently on HBO Europe; Star Movies, South Asia; and on Blockbuster and Netflix. It is a cult hit, especially among the Indian expatriates.
Mr. Nidimoru and Mr. Krishna were nominated for Best Emerging Director Award at the Asian-American International Film Festival, New York; and also as Director of the Year by the South Asian Students Alliance (SASA), California.
Both Engineering graduates, the film makers are currently working on two feature films. One is a historical fiction set during the turn of this century. Their latest short, SHOR, is a precursor to a full-length feature film.
