Synopsis:
A chance meeting on a Delhi summer morning brings a middle-aged salaried man and a somewhat undefined young man together. Soon, a short commute together across Delhi becomes a pattern to which both, recent arrivals from Bengal, comfortably succumb in this tale of the fictions of friendship and intimacy. Director: Spandan Banerjee
Since 2003, under his independent banner Overdose, Spandan Banerjee makes short documentary, and narrative films. His films have been shown at film festivals in Spain, Finland and Pakistan. Beware Dogs has toured the international film festivals in Rotterdam, Montreal, Barcelona, and London. The Fiction, his first narrative film was selected by the 10th Osian's Festival of Asian & Arab Cinema, India. He is currently working on his first feature length film The Golden Triangle and documentary English/India. |
