The 12th Annual NEW YORK INDIAN FILM FESTIVAL (NYIFF) showcases cinema from the Indian subcontinent and South Asian diaspora, attracting more than 10,000 film-lovers and top-level media attention from New York City and around the world each year.
Presented by the Indo-American Arts Council, NYIFF celebrates alternative, independent, and arthouse cinema from the global South Asian community, including feature films, documentaries, and shorts. The Festival fosters a collaborative environment and offers day-long industry panels and workshops, post-screening Q&A's, nightly parties, and special programs. NYIFF bestows top honors in all categories, while additionally recognizing Best Director, Best Actor, and Best Actress.
Hospitality is offered to filmmakers attending from outside the U.S., and all exhibiting filmmakers receive a festival pass, tickets to the Opening Night Gala and Closing Night Awards Ceremony, as well as additional tickets to the premiere of their films for invited guests. The Festival provides top-notch screening opportunities at venues including Lincoln Center and Tribeca Cinemas.
