In 1997, Vijai Nathan mortified her strict Indian parents by quitting her job, canceling her wedding & becoming a comedian- and she hasn't looked back since! Vijai has performed nationally and internationally, opened for Russell Peters and has expanded her special story-telling style of comedy through her solo-shows, "Good Girls Don't, But Indian Girls Do" & "McGoddess: Big Macs, Karma & the American Dream. " She has performed in the Montreal Comedy Festival, Picked as on the the Top 10 Stand-Ups by Back Stage Magazine, and has been invited for a return performance at the Smithsonian in May 2009!
