IAAC brings you a special two-part Indian Classical music series of four scintillating Ragas and Bhajans to light up your Diwali. Featuring Pt. Jayateerth Mevundi, doyen of the Kirana gharana, a stalwart amongst today's young classical vocalists aptly described by AR Rahman as "the most electrifying Indian musician of the present era". Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar calls him "an extremely tuneful singer". In music circles he is popularly known as the ‘Next Bhimsen Joshi’. His impassioned Abhangas reflect his easy grace and versatility.
