MUMBAI: Sahara One Motion Picture's Dor directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, which is set to be screened at IAAC (Indo American Arts Council) Film Festival in New York, has also been chosen as the grand opening movie for the Atlanta Indo-American Film Festival.

Dor will be screened at both festivals along with other movies. There will also be a question and asnwer session wherein Kukunoor will be present to answer queries.

"Sometimes an idea leaps out at you and a story writes itself. This is how it happened with Dor. With the most incredible team I've ever worked with, Dor has been my most satisfying film," says Kukunoor.

"One more feather in the cap for our director Nagesh Kukunoor. He has showed it again with Dor what a brilliant director he is and it is a matter of immense pride for Sahara One Motion Pictures to be a part of this venture," says Sahara One Media and Entertainment Ltd CEO Shantonu Aditya.

"Dor perfectly incorporates our brand image and dedication to good cinema. We believe in meaningful cinema, we make sure the director we back is of good standing and the film is based on substantial premise to appeal to our audiences. And we are very happy Dor is still going strong," says Sahara One Motion Pictures business head Sharang Sharma.

The film stars Ayesha Takia, Gul Panag, Shreyas Talpade, Girish Karnad and Pratiksha Lonkar.
