Bollywood legends grace the closing night of NYIFF
 

The 11th Annual New York International Film Festival was packed with talent this year with some amazing films and Bollywood legends!
Festival attendees viewed 25 feature films including 15 World and U.S. Premieres, industry panels, photo exhibits, after parties, and more.

Talented scriptwriter, actress and director Aparna Sen won best director closing night. Neetu Singh Kapoor was also at the closing night presenting and husband, Rishi Kapoor, won best actor for his work in “Do Dooni
Chaar.”

Opening night began with Habib Faisal’s “Do Dooni Chaar,” on May 4th. The festivals centerpiece was Aparna Sen’s “Iti Mrinalini” which was viewed on May 6th and the festival closed out on May 8th, with Rituparno Ghosh’s “Nauka Dubi.”
