Call for Submissions

Application Deadline: June 20

IAAC Literary Festival 2024

Call for Submission

The Indo-American Arts Council is thrilled to announce the call for submissions for our 2024 literary festival. The in-person festival is slated to be held in New York City on the weekend of November 9th and 10th.

This festival celebrates and explores the vibrant and diverse cultures of India through the written word. We feature works written by Indian and diaspora authors, works related to India, and works inspired by the many rich facets of the country. We invite submissions of published books of poetry, fiction, non-fiction, drama, and children’s literature. We strongly believe that words have the power to connect worlds and look for works that examine and showcase the beauty, challenges, complexity, diversity, and richness of Indian culture and its relationship to society, history, politics, spirit, and the human experience. We accept original works in English and the languages of India with English translations.
