Shilpa Narayan
Pop/R&B singer-songwriter Shilpa Narayan launched her music career in 2013 by partnering with MySpace and releasing her debut single “Renegade,” an instant breakout hit that not only resonated with global audiences for its electro-tribal dance beat, but also its message of perseverance in overcoming a destined standard, a battle Shilpa herself has fought being an Indian woman in the music industry.

Along with her upbeat pop, soul infused ballads and stripped down acoustic medleys, the Atlanta, GA native released her first album Stand Alone (2012), with the self-title single “Stand Alone” and “Change Your Mind,” as well as her second album Through Haze (2015) including “Baby Go Home” and “Pinch Me.”

Shilpa has opened for Waka Flocka, Wale, Culture Shock and has performed at the Apollo, Times Square Diwali (150,000 people), NY Fashion Week, DesiFest Canada as well as various clubs around the world. She's been featured by The Voice's Carson Daly, MTV, VH1, Vibe Magazine’s Artist to Watch, Yahoo! Music, BBC Radio, AOL Music, OkayPlayer, ArtistDirect, RyanSeacrest.com, Thisis50.com, UrbanAsian, Channel One News, and many more. She has over 1 million hits on her YouTube channel and associated videos to date.

Levi Vutipadadorn
Levi specializes in collaborating with wind players. Highlights include performances with bassoonist Leonard Hindell (NYU Steinhardt Artist Faculty; New York Philharmonic, retired); trombonist Joel Vaisse (Orchestre National de France, former); oboist Matt Sullivan (NYU SteinhardtNew York University); tubists Tim Northcut (Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music), Derek Fenstermache (New Jersey Symphony Orchestra), Aaron Tindall (University of Miami); and flutist flautist Soo-Kyung Park (NYU Steinhardt Artist FacultyNew York University).

An active performer, Levi's most recent solo endeavors include participation in the Wideman International Piano Competition, Seattle International Piano Competition, Phoenix Symphony Guild Concerto Competition (prizewinner), and Music Teachers National Association Competition (prizewinner). His performances have also been broadcast on Phoenix KBAQ classical public radio station.

In addition to maintaining a private teaching studio in Manhattan, Levi is currently piano faculty at Hunterdon Academy of the Arts. Formerly, he was adjunct instructor at NYU Steinhardt New York University.

Anu SahasrabudheAnu Sahasrabudhe Founder and Artistic Director of MUDAVIS Performing Arts is an established dancer whose passion and inherited talent from her mother for the art form has been evident from a very young age. Heralded as one of the finest fusion dancers, Anu’s forte and training is in Classical fusion. Anu’s dancing style blends grace and strength with a deep and genuine love for movement and performance.

Anu did her diploma in modern creative dance style under Guru Tanushree Shankar a world-renowned and one of the leading exponents of contemporary dance forms in India.

Following her guru’s footsteps Anu created her own creative dance style by blending different styles of modern and Indian dances like Bharatnatyam, Kathak, folk and Shankar Technique.

Anu has had many award winning Choreographies over her 20 years of dance career. She now teaches the language of Choreography and dance to her students through her concept of Music, Dance and Visuals through her founded School and Performing Arts Company "MUDAVIS" a symbolization of MUSIC.DANCE.VISUALS!

Formed in 2007, Bollywood Funk NYC is a premier dance institution specializing in urban, contemporary, Bollywood Dance. We blend the best of what Bollywood has to offer, high energy entertainment, drama and expressions with  dance styles such as jazz and hip hop and more.  Our students learn cutting-edge moves as seen in today’s  Bollywood films, with a focus on rhythm, stage presence, technique and the “art” of performing. Through our choreographies, we aim to show just how diverse Bollywood is as a dance style and how its constantly reinventing itself by crossing cultural boundaries.

Bollywood Funk NYC Dance School and Company is the creative vision of Artistic Director , Ayesha Khanna.Taking inspiration from the hard-to-deny amalgamation of ‘East’ and ‘West’ in contemporary Indian culture and cinema, Bollywood Funk NYC Dance Company is the most culturally and technically diverse Bollywood-inspired dance ensemble in North America. Our members have performed at the esteemed Fred Astaire Dance Awards, Madison Square Garden, Diwali at Times Square, Governor's Ball NYC, appeared alongside celebrities in world-famous Bollywood movies and were the first dance group of its kind to be invited to audition for MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew.

Since starting Bollywood Funk NYC in 2007, Ayesha has become a highly desired choreographer and educator to the entertainment industry at large and has collaborated with many luminaries and organizations including contestant Caitlin Kinney from “So You Think You Can Dance”,  Music sensation Tina Sugandh, Emmy award winning cinematographer Peter Francella,  American Academy of Ballet, Olympic Level figure skaters Tatiana and Maxim, Engendered Film Festival , National Geographic and more. Bollywood Funk NYC Dance School has also been featured on various media networks/newspapers including, MTV, CW11, CNN IBN, TV Asia, Star TV, Sahara TV , NY Times, Times Out NY and NY Daily News to name a few.
